The Abbey Cottage - Cottage Details

Nestled in the shadow of the magnificent 11th century Battle Abbey, The Abbey Cottage, a Grade 2 listed, medieval timber-framed house offers a clean, comfortable and cosy stay in the heart of 1066 Country, the historic town of Battle.

The Abbey Cottage, formerly known as Clematis Cottage, is now under new ownership and has been sympathetically refurbished and decorated. Situated down a twitten off the Battle Abbey Green, a few metres away from the Abbey gates, The Abbey Cottage offers accommodation on three floors for four people.

• On the ground floor is a small kitchen that overlooks a courtyard garden belonging to the property

• The first floor comprises of two double bedrooms, one en-suite and a small staircase leading to the second floor

• The second floor provides an additional bathroom and two sitting rooms, one of which can be used for games/dining. All rooms on the first and second floors overlook the Abbey Green

Parking is available at the Battle Abbey car park

The Abbey Cottage has low ceilings throughout. Due to the age and layout of The Abbey Cottage, it is unfortunately not suitable for the less able, elderly and children under 8. There are steep stairs on both floors.

STRICTLY NO PETS ALLOWED - Thank you.
